At Nativity Parish School...

We are Looking for a Afterschool Care(ASC) Teacher for the 2024 Year starting in August Children in our program are either School Aged(Grades K-5) or our Preschool (ages 2.5-5), We are looking for the right candidate to assist with this program. Must have a strong work ethic, Responsible, Professional. Must work well with others. Keeping a routine with children and set schedule. Making our program fun for kids, but with structure.

Our afterschool routine includes: Snack, Play, Outside Time(weather permitting), Homework time(if in older grades). Candidate will help schedules fun activities for the kids.

Hours are Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00pm Monday through Friday. Once a month we have early release and will need help starting at 1:40pm.

As part of the hiring process, staff will be required to go through Virtus Certification in person and keep up to date on training bulletins. Must be fingerprinted, pass background check, and do the occasional professional development. We do 16 hours of professional development a year. A health Assessment will be required to be completed and Pediatric First Aid. Must have previous experience in working with Children. We are a licensed facility.

We are a Catholic School and all practices at our school need to be inline with our faith and educational standard .
