Native Roots Cannabis Co. is Hiring a Nutrient Technician Near Commerce, CO

The results will also be kept confidential and will not be used to withdraw a conditional offer of employment on the basis of any particular medical or disability status that is not directly related to the applicant's ability to perform the job-related functions of the position*** The Nutrient Technician is responsible for managing the inventory of base nutrients, formulations, and supplements required for cultivation operations. Key Duties And Responsibilities
Receive and inventory raw nutrient inputs and supplements
Weigh/measure, dissolve, and dispense nutrient solutions per established SOPs
Maintain logs of nutrients created and their composition (including EC and pH) on a daily basis
Clean and sterilize reusable nutrient containers
Stock and organize nutrient racks daily
Maintain clean laboratory areas and storage locations, including floors/walls, shelves/racks, and other nutrient spaces
Maintain laboratory equipment including mixers, scales, pumps, tanks, and any other tools used.
Assist with lab analyses and experiments as necessary.
Handle, process, and transport chemicals safely
Operate pneumatic pallet jack and drum lift
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
1 year of commercial cannabis cultivation experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Must possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Knowledge of METRC and Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) compliance regulations related to cannabis cultivation
Knowledge of cannabis cultivation nutrient requirements, planting mediums, lighting requirements, environmental requirements, soil growing methods, watering and drip irrigation, container systems, hydroponics, temperature and humidity requirements, and drip irrigation
Knowledge of beneficial and detrimental bacteria, plant diseases, insects, fungi, and related methods to manage cultivation
Knowledge of plant anatomy and physiology
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisions
Physical Requirements
Standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs frequently throughout the day.
Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes or items.
Ability to safely weigh, mix, and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOPs.
Ability to wear a respirator for up to 2 hours per day
Ability to work in the same area as cannabis and have direct contact with cannabis material
Ability to complete repetitive tasks for the majority of your workday
Ability to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOPs
Other Requirements
In person at the production location based on schedule.
Compensation Details
Pay Range: $19.60 to $20.60; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications
Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2.5 weeks per year
