About the position:

The Yard Work / Landscape Laborer will be responsible for completing various yard work/landscaping tasks with close attention to detail, across various project sites. Tasks are all related to lot maintenance and will include, but are not limited to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the use of small hand tools and equipment. The Laborer will efficiently and effectively complete all assigned tasks while maintaining situational awareness, personal safety, and company policies and procedures.

Job type and schedule: Full-time. 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday.

Physical requirements: Must be able to walk, stand, crouch, and use tools for long periods of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will:

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete projects
• Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, etc
• Safely use landscaping tools and equipment
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to problem-solve and complete projects
• Complete all jobs within specified timelines
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting procedures
• Interact with public community in a positive manner
• Assist with any additional tasks, as needed and assigned

You will need to have:

• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• High attention to detail with solid comprehension of both verbal and written communication
• Working understanding of English
• High level of organization and effective time management skills
• Self-motivated attitude
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and diesel systems
• Previous experience as mechanic for heavy equipment
• Ability to work in all types of summer weather

Pay range:

Will be negotiated at time of hire, commensurate with each person's experience.
