Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services is seeking an experienced Capture Manager to join our Growth team. The successful candidate will lead the capture of new business opportunities with organizations across the Federal Government. They will meet with potential customers to understand pain points and requirements for assigned deals. They will collaborate with senior leadership, solution architects, and technical resources from across the company, to develop innovative solutions, and coordinate with the Proposal Manager to develop winning proposals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary owner of assigned opportunities once they have passed the initial gate review.
• Work with the BD team and senior leadership to develop capture plans.
• Identify gaps in capabilities, identify potential teaming partners, and negotiate teaming agreements.
• Work across the organization and with teaming partners to drive the development of win themes and overall strategy.
• Facilitate meetings to develop solutions, win themes and strategies.
• Meet with current and potential customers to present possible solutions and articulate the value of NIS.
Job Qualifications:
• 8 years of experience in Federal Capture Management and Business Development.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Shipley or similar business development and capture management processes.
• Experience managing cross-functional capture teams.
• Secret clearance preferred.
Additional Skills:
• Experience and personal relationships in DoD and related agencies.
• Experience with pricing and price-to-win analysis.
• Proposal writing experience on large, complex opportunities.
