The Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics faculty member will provide specialty mental health services for children and adolescents, including thorough initial assessments, treatment planning, potential short-term psychotherapy, case management to meet the unique needs of patients.

The physician will perform medical and other professional services and will be obligated to assume an equal share of the professional workload in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, whether scheduled or emergency, inpatient or outpatient, including availability for call on nights and weekends.
The physician’s clinical expectations will be based on the physician’s FTE status.
The physician’s clinical activities may be performed alone or while teaching medical students, pediatric residents, graduate students, and various allied health professionals. The physician may also be asked to provide education and training to health care professionals at other institutions.
The physician will be expected to actively participate in providing lectures, clinical teaching, and developing curricula for the pediatric housestaff and medical students, and other allied health care professionals at other institutions.
