NTT is seeking a Mechanical Drives Instructor with hands-on field experience and the ability to pass this knowledge on in a learning environment.

Qualifications

Using NTT training materials including hands-on equipment, The Mechanical Drives Instructor is responsible for the following:

• Provide instruction and practical training to create an engaging learning experience for the following Hands-on Mechanical Drives Training Course Topics:

 INTRODUCTION: MECHANICAL POWER TRANSMISSION

• Laws of motion
• Mechanical advantage
• Basic machines
• Friction

PRIME MOVERS

BUSHINGS, KEYS, AND KEYWAYS—HANDS-ON

BEARINGS—HANDS-ON

GENERAL LUBRICATION CONSIDERATIONS

BELT DRIVE SYSTEMS

GEAR DRIVE SYSTEMS

CHAINS—LAB EXERCISES

COUPLINGS—LAB EXERCISES

CLUTCHES AND BRAKES

MECHANICAL VARIABLE SPEED DRIVES

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE TECHNOLOGIES

• Vibration Analysis
• Thermography
• Oil Analysis
• Ultrasonic Testing

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with the NTT policies.
• Stay current in subject matter through professional development.
• Contribute suggestions for program improvement and growth.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Perform other professional duties to support instruction as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent technical knowledge and field experience with Mechanical Drives.
• Proficient in Public Speaking for delivery of training. 
• Spanish reading, writing and speaking fluency strongly preferred
• Effectively communicate technical information to students of all industry experience levels. 
• Proficiency in using PowerPoint for presentations and classroom management skills. 
• Ability to travel within the United States via air, train, or auto. 
• Ability to function independently in a highly efficient manner. 
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills. 
• Computer literacy (MS Word and PowerPoint).
