Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Parkridge Medical Center, in downtown Chattanooga, is an Accredited Chest Pain Center offering comprehensive healthcare services that include a 24-hour emergency department, cardiology, orthopedics, robotics and surgical services in addition to oncology services at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute.

We’re currently seeking a Behavioral Health RN to join our amazing team.

Details of the Behavioral Health RN opening:

• Anticipated start date: 4/15/2024
• Salary Range: $1,650 weekly (36 hours)
• Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
• Anticipated schedule: Days or Nights, 3x12s

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health RN:

• Provide professional nursing care to emotionally disturbed and/or mentally ill patients for mental health and recovery services.
• Work with clinical and case management staff to oversee care and assist in treatment plans for clients.

Qualifications for the Behavioral Health RN:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s) in the state(s) in which employed and practices
• Two or more year(s) of current experience within Behavioral / Psychiatric Health
• Active Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Current BLS/BCLS Certification
• Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
