Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize costs while maintaining product quality.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of operations. Implement strategies to manage disruptions and shortages proactively.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce lead times.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, market trends, and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
