Forklift Operator - Yard Lead
National Precast has expanded our operation and are looking for an experienced, well rounded, and enthusiastic team member to join our crew. National Precast primarily manufactures and installs large Stormwater Detention Vaults. Our company has been in business since 1975 and an industry leader in manufacturing of precast and prestress concrete products used in commercial, residential, and heavy industrial applications.

Employment Type – Full time, Immediate opening. Hours: 6:00-2:30 Monday-Friday. Summertime hours may include overtime and some Saturdays. This position requires the employee to organize the yard, perform a variety of forklift and gantry crane operations including, but not limited to the following:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Work in concert with the precast and prestress manufacturing crews.
• Operate large forklifts, gantry and overhead cranes,
• Maintain organized yard.
• Ability to yard product from production, store properly, and load delivery trucks.
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Compliance with OSHA health and safety regulations.
• Clear communication with co workers
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
• Good attendance and punctuality are a must.
• Knowledge of rigging practices and procedures
• Forklift/Overhead Crane Certification
