IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE DRIVEABLE RV TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on RVs, including electrical, appliance, carpentry, and plumbing systems.

· Install and upgrade accessories and components.

· Collaborate with our service department to obtain work authorizations and factory approvals to ensure smooth operations and reimbursement for warranty repairs.

· Keep tabs on materials and equipment used.

· Deliver a stellar pre-delivery inspection experience, providing walk-through demonstrations.

· Be a mentor to Apprentice level technicians to foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experience as a drivable RV service technician.

· Possess diagnostic and repair abilities to allow you to tackle a wide range of RV systems and components.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

· Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

· Upkeep professional appearance and commitment to exception customer service.

· Prioritize safety, strictly adhere to workplace guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.

· Ability to juggle competing demands.

· Excel in written and verbal communication to convey challenges and opportunities.

· ASE/RVIA certifications are a plus

· Valid driver's license clear of suspensions 3 years is required.

· Must successfully pass a background and drug screen

Working Conditions:

· You’ll be working primarily out of our seasonally heated/cooled service shop.

· Prepare for extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.

· Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and objects.

· Ability to navigate tight spaces and heights.

· Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals, knowing that safety precautions are in place.

At NIRVC, our customers mean everything to us. We are focused on supporting the RV lifestyle with our service department 7 days a week. We have recently transitioned to a 7-day schedule at several of our locations, and all service & parts departments will move to this customer focused schedule in 2024. All service positions will operate on a 12-hour workday, working 3-4 days per week (with 3 or 4 days off per week) depending on their schedule.
