National Home Health Services is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Sausalito, CA

Home Health Aide (HHA)
National Home Health is a leading provider of in-home healthcare in Northern California with accreditation through the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. At this time we are looking for a full-time/part-time California Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in:

Location: Marin County

Compensation: $40-50/ per visit

Position Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

  • Home Health Aide certification was obtained through the successful completion of a program approved by the California Department of Public Health. Certification must be current with the California Department of Public Health Licensing and Certification Division. Applicants without this license will not be considered for employment (Please visit: http://cvl.cdph.ca.gov/SearchPage.aspx to verify certification).
  • Experience with direct patient care in a home health or facility setting.
  • Proficiency in English along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completes twelve (12) hours of in-service per calendar year
  • Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity which may include lifting up to fifty (50) pounds as well as extensive bending and standing.
  • Ability to assess and communicate with patients, co-workers, and the general public.
  • Is neat in appearance and practice good personal hygiene.

Home Health Aide duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures quality and safe delivery of health care services.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of client plans of care per agency policy.
  • Provide home health aide services that reflect the client's plan of care.
  • Submits information regarding the client's plan of care to the supervising Registered Nurse in a timely manner.
  • Discusses the client's plan of care with the supervising Registered Nurse on a regular basis.
