National Holistic Institute is Hiring a Financial Aid Administrator Near Emeryville, CA

National Holistic Institute (NHI), is one of the nation’s largest and most respected colleges of massage therapy, is currently hiring. The open position is Financial Aid Administrator and the desired skill set is described below:

The Financial Aid Administrator is responsible for:

  • Counseling students, applicants and parents on all aspects of the financial aid process
  • Determining and monitoring students' eligibility for federal and state financial aid programs
  • Perform diligent follow-up on missing paperwork to complete student’s files in a timely manner
  • Complete, track, and update NHI staff on the progress of student financial plans
  • Perform needs analysis and use professional judgment to assist students with unusual circumstances when applicable
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Team Director.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Proven experience in financial administration/counseling or a similar role (2 years preferred)
  • Proficiency in using systems such as Outlook, Excel, and Panda Doc
  • Excellent customer service skills along with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), Common Origination & Disbursement System (COD) and CampusVue websites (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
