Job Description Job Description Position Description: Better Tomorrows is a mission-focused not for profit organization. We are working to alleviate poverty by providing programs, supportive services, and case management to over 26,000 residents of affordable housing in more than 100 communities across the nation and in Hawaii and the Virgin Islands.We are searching for an experienced Social Services professional and reliable individual to engage residents including families and seniors in the coordination of activities and programs.Duties:tChampion the vision and drive service delivery at several affordable housing property serving all residents including children and families, adult and senior residents, and any individuals with special needstManage all facets of programming and service delivery by working collaboratively with community stakeholders, property residents, and property manager on sitetDevelop and implement on-site programs to meet the needs of residents, including:tArts and Crafts, Wellness, and Nutrition Education WorkshopstFood Banks and Financial Literacy programs to promote stability and self-sufficiencytHealth & Wellness programs to promote physical, mental, and general wellbeingtDevelop and implement community-wide events focused on building safe and strong communitiestParticipate in onsite partner meetings, build a network of community partnerstDevelop and implement services based on community needs and resident feedbacktConduct one-on-one case management services to support residents of the community, adhering to case management and social work ethicstLeverage, nurture and cultivate key community partnerships to forge new and stronger relationships to maximize available programs and services for residentstInput data to track case management progress, demographic information, and program outcomestAdopt a customer service first attitude that ensures residents, partners, and the community at large receives the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environmenttPerform other duties as requestedMinimum Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish preferred tMinimum three (3) to five (5) years work experience in Social Service DeliverytBachelors degree in Social Work, Education or related field is preferredtExcellent verbal, written, and inter-personal skillstOrganized, reliable and flexibletPrior knowledge of affordable housing and area social service resourcestKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Apps and other software programstAbility to work a flexible schedule 9 am 5 pm, occasional evenings or weekendstAbility to safely lift 25 poundsBetter Tomorrows is an EO Employer.
