Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be key in the development and completion of project charters for automation initiatives. This role involves gaining a deep understanding of business problems, defining these problems clearly, and validating project scope to ensure the project remains focused and aligned with business objectives.

Duties:

• Determines how to capture and document requirements based on the development methodology used for the business system.
• Meets with stakeholders, subject matter experts, process owners and users to elicit and document needs, expectations, constraints, and external interfaces using various.
• Defines constraints for verification and validation.
• Builds consensus among stakeholder group regarding the true business issue and requirements.
• Develops the business requirements by translating the needs, expectations, constraints, and interfaces into an understandable format.
• Completes activities according to best practices and standard operating procedures consistently meeting quality standards and striving to add value.
• Work closely with the project manager, technical team members and other project stakeholders to provide project guidance.
• Study the business and software application domains to understand the problem space and work with the project team to develop effective software solutions.
• Work as a liaison to software users and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate, and verify the requirements for changes to current business processes, policies and information systems and for the development of new business processes, policies and information systems and to translate requirements into system designs which meet business objectives.
• Convey the requirements of the software users to the development team.
• Create business requirements documents, context diagrams, business requirements document (BRD), system "as-is" and "to be" states, system specifications, use cases and workflow diagrams, report and screen mock-ups, swim lane diagrams, and prototypes.
• Ensure that artifacts required by ITS governance process and Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) are created and support the project scope.
• Facilitate the adoption of standard patterns and designs which support the application, data and security architecture strategy for applications.
• Assist with creating accurate time estimates for the completion of technical documentation and execution tasks.
• Defines quality attributes, constraints and other non-functional requirements.
• Collaborates with developers and business subject matter experts to analyze requirements and design trade-offs and priorities.
• Establishes and maintains relationship between requirements for consideration during change management and requirements allocation.
• Allocates solution component requirements.
• Documents relationship among allocated requirements.
• Identifies and develops requirements for interfaces.
• Acts as a knowledge source for architects, developers, and testers.
• Manage requirements through the life of the contract using a requirements management plan and traceability.

Mandatory Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in math, science, computer science, psychology, or related. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
• 7 years analyzing an organization or business domain and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
• 7 years of experience performing analysis by eliciting then analyzing stakeholder's business needs using a variety of analysis techniques.
• 7 years of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communication of requirements.
• 7 years of experience facilitating requirement workshops, JAD sessions and structured walkthroughs, practicing effective communication to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed, and met.
• 6 years of experience creating test plans/cases, managing defects with development teams, and working with users on User Acceptance Testing.
• 6 years of experience managing requirements throughout the Requirements Management Lifecycle.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience using Visio, Miro, Balsamiq, UXPIN software tools to create mock-ups, wireframe, process flow.
• 3 years of experience working on various applications within Business domain / License domain including but not limited to Business formation, Industry License domain experience.
