Partnership and Affiliate Manager

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00 Pacific Time

Hybrid Position: Onsite 1-2 days a week, as needed

Exempt Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000. Position eligible for additional incentives including bonus, 401(k) match, health and welfare benefits, amazing culture, growth opportunity and more!!

Location: San Diego, CA (La Jolla/UTC)

National Funding is continuing to grow and has a great opportunity for a Partnership and Affiliate Manager. National Funding is a financially strong, very stable, and fast growing fintech company in the La Jolla/ UTC area. As a Partnership Manager, you will oversee and grow client relationships across multiple verticals. Your primary focus will be on managing our affiliate and partnership marketing program, while also exploring potential opportunities for broader partnership growth. The right candidate is driven, analytical, and adept at identifying growth opportunities through data analysis. This position will report to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day relationships of affiliate and publisher partners to optimize growth
  • Plan, implement, and optimize programs to achieve desired outcomes
  • Analyze program performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Track and report on channel and partner performance
  • Collaborate with partners on growth strategies
  • Oversee the affiliate network platform, identifying issues and working as a liaison between internal technical and analytics teams and product support for integration and troubleshooting
  • Monitor market, competitors, and industry to identify opportunities and position our brands in market accordingly
  • Prospect new partnership opportunities using existing relationships and analytical tools
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to maximize mutual benefit and drive revenue growth
  • Stay on top of emerging affiliate marketing and industry trends to evaluate new management approaches or technologies

An Ideal Candidate Looks Like This:

  • A proven track record driving revenue growth through affiliate marketing programs in financial services or related industries
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Balanced skill set including analytical, interpersonal, and technical abilities
  • Strategic thinker with proficiency in analyzing market trends
  • Knowledge of analytics/reporting tools and methodologies (e.g. SimilarWeb, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and the ability to derive insights from large datasets
  • Proven experience managing multiple payout models including Rev-Share, CPA, CPC, and CPL and effectively optimizing revenue streams and maximizing KPIs across diverse compensation structures
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Clear understanding of affiliate tracking models, tools, and platforms (Impact Radius, CJ)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (background in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data-driven digital marketing

  • Working in a temperature-controlled office environment
  • Sitting at a desk for long periods of time while viewing multiple computer screen monitors
  • Potential lifting of boxes around 5-10lbs
