National Dentex Labs is Hiring an Implant Coodinator Near Fenton, MO

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in St Louis, MO for a full-time implant coordinator.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Accountable to ensure that cases meet customer due dates.
  • Completely read prescriptions and specifications received from clinicians. Clarify questions with clinicians.
  • Provide case specific technical direction for lab technicians and other personnel based upon customer requirements.
  • Ensure the workflow process meets company standards of quality control, production and documentation.
  • Personal and extensive VIP treatment to customers in need
  • Research, as necessary, digital and analog workflows and products necessary to meet specific case requirements.
  • Ensure that all guided surgery tasks/processes are performed to standards.
  • Ensure the workflow process meets Company standards of quality control, production and documentation.
  • Answer both dentist and team member questions about complex fixed, implant and guided surgery cases in a timely manner
  • Ensure that an appropriate store of surgical sleeves are maintained, and that the sleeves are positioned properly in the plan before guide design and fabrication
  • Be the primary resource for all guided surgery questions within the lab. In concert with the training department, give any training necessary to help other team members join the guided surgery team.
  • Utilize interactions with doctors and staff as selling opportunity while creating a positive image of the lab.
  • Be responsible for the monthly meetings with vendors, including communicating with internal and external participants and reserving and arranging the meeting area. Responsible to ensure that the team at Keller meets the commitments from these implant vendor meetings in a timely manner. In partnership with implant leader/SME, provide a primary point of contact for implant vendor representatives.
  • Responsible for NDX Keller's ongoing educational initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, study club participation, hosting of evening or weekend classes, development of curriculum as necessary, and availability to teach as appropriate. Maintain awareness of all current programs, and work with implant vendors to develop new programs. Provide primary point of technical contact for all external educational outreach, such as the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.
  • Represent the laboratory in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Support the sales and customer service teams with occasional technical information regarding implants or other complex cases. All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong surgical dentistry knowledge
  • Familiarity with restorative dentistry
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of managing time and working well with others
  • Strong problem solving skills, capable of coming up with creative approaches for generating new ideas and improving existing processes or products in the unit.
  • Professional skill level in the use of Surgical Planning software
  • Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Must be able to coach other team members in the use of advanced software tools and communication of complex information
  • Verbally communicate via telephone-maintaining a positive demeanor

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 yr. production experience, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years customer Service experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a dental implant treatment planning, guided surgery, and oral-maxillofacial surgical theories.
  • PC literacy required: MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Extensive use of guided surgery software.
