National Coatings & Supplies, Inc Safety Analyst
National Coatings & Supplies, Inc is looking for an experienced Safety Analyst to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will perform duties to support the Operations Department and EHS initiatives as well as support corporate and field operations in accidents, incident tracking and reporting, along with other activities consistent with operations to including but not limited to: reporting, data entry, and other duties. ad hoc analysis as required and assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Member of the Operations Department supporting the field and store operations.
  • Point of contact for vehicle accident, safety incidents and other safety related items from the field.
  • Workers Compensation claims processing.
  • System admin for EHS software, updating data, review for accuracy, creating reports.
  • DOT information tracking and reporting.
  • Review Safety and Procedural audits, creating management reports.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/ GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or EHS field preferred.
  • 1- 3 years of previous related experience a plus.
  • Workers Compensation claims administration experience -- filing and analyzing claim data.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive matters, complex problems, and uphold highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office skills such as, Access, Power Point and strong Excel.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills to be able to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Ability to learn new computer applications quickly.
  • Strong written, oral expression and comprehension.
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Travel: 5% or less.
