Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, with developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans.
Duties:
- Implement behavior management techniques as directed by the Behavior Analyst
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral therapy programs
- Work directly with individuals to provide behavioral health support
- Collect and record data on client behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to create and update care plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Support clients in activities of daily living
- Assist in educational activities for clients with special needs
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals, especially children, with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Familiarity with data collection methods
- Understanding of special education principles
- Ability to follow care plans and behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and their families
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
