The GM accomplishes this by being a leader, inspiring management, and practicing core values in all interactions with customers and staff.
General Job Responsibilities:
· Analyze dealership departments to find areas for growth and opportunities to generate revenue.
· Review dealership practices and ensure customer service initiatives are being executed in all areas.
· Review monthly financial statements to assess performance against forecast.
· Analyze customer survey data to find trends, weaknesses, and recommend improvements for all departments.
· Provide leadership to team management and staff by building rapport and creating positive employee morale.
· Create merchandising and advertising strategies, and recommend changes after evaluating program effectiveness.
· Evaluate compensation plans to align with industry standards.
· Lead by example by demonstrating family values, honesty, and delivering a superior customer experience, every time.
Job Requirements:
· Nissan experience is a plus.
· 5 years’ experience as an Automotive Sales Manager, required.
· Proven ability to increase dealership profits.
· Strong analytical background to analyze and interpret high volumes of data.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
