Nate Amendola Defense is Hiring an Associate Attorney Near Norwell, MA

Associate Attorney at Nate Amendola Defense

Nate Amendola Defense is not your typical criminal defense law firm. We do things the way they ought to be done—by applying a unique and systematic approach to each case. We’re not a volume-based practice, so that gives us the time to really get in the weeds. People get here what they wouldn’t get anywhere else because we have a team of “A-level” players. We’re looking to add a superstar attorney to the team who loves the law and who can think outside the box. If you believe that learning is an art, then you’ll fit right in.

Enough about us. We want to know more about you. First and foremost, you must be a forever learner and love to read. Trust us on this. If you watch more TV than you read books, the shoe won’t fit. You must have a passion or hobby that you care deeply about—something that you’re an expert at. If you understand and live the mind-body connection, welcome home. You must be diligent and know how to figure things out on your own. Bonus points if you’re an early riser and make your bed every day. Because how you do one thing is how you do everything . . .

As an Associate Attorney at the firm, you must be currently admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and have at least four years of experience in the practice of criminal law. Former or current prosecutors, public defenders, and private practitioners are encouraged to apply.

You’ll be going to court, handling everything from arraignment and bail arguments to arguing motions, negotiating dispositions, and winning trials. You should know how to develop a cogent theory of the case, design unique legal defenses, and negotiate. You’ll research the law and write outstanding memos. You will be responsible for taking a case from start to finish with very little supervision.

As great as you are, if you possess any of the following 5 attributes, you won’t be successful here:

1. You don’t obsess over the details.

2. You think you can multitask.

3. You talk more than you listen.

4. You can’t concentrate deeply.

5. You don’t know how to prioritize.

Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience.

And lastly, if you think you’re the right candidate for the job, then do the following: send an email to Doreen (doreen@amendolallc.com). In the subject line, write “Nate Amendola Defense Associate Candidate”. Attach a cover letter, resume, and writing sample. In the cover letter, tell us what you’re currently reading and what podcasts you’re listening to.
