Job Summary

Serve as the front-line professional responsible for the ongoing asset management, portfolio management and financial oversight of NCA Realty Partners investments. Additionally, engage in the analysis and due diligence process on an ongoing basis with the company’s investments. Serve as a market contact for external participants and develop key relationships to market the Company’s investment programs. Perform key activities within the context of the team’s processes, investment guidelines, and team-oriented philosophy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily asset management function of a portfolio of multifamily, industrial, storage, and medical office assets.
  • Independently interact and monitor property management firms, co-sponsors partnerships, and joint-venture partners, as applicable.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of project business plans (including annual budgets) and present concise and well-supported recommendations to internal staff.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend opportunities for asset enhancement through capital improvement and renovation plans.
  • Establish and manage business relationships with brokers, tenants, bankers, property managers, contractors, vendors, municipalities, legal counterparts and other real estate professionals.
  • Oversee required reporting and monitoring activities including re-underwriting, valuation and quarterly reporting needs.
  • Engage in the identification, underwriting, diligence, and closing of investment opportunities.
  • Generate scheduled and ad hoc reporting for NCA Realty Partners and its clients in compliance with internal procedures and our clients’ investment management agreements.
  • Assist on other projects as required.
  • Act in compliance with team, company, and industry standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The compensation for this position falls within Nassau’s salary band F: $100,000-$185,000

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum five to seven years of real estate investment or asset management related experience.
  • Both general and front-line knowledge of real estate finance, investments, law and economics.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general business software applications.
  • Proficient in the use of Argus, Yardi and other real estate analytical software applications.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) consultative and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Exhibit teamwork, collaboration, analytical thinking, and self-motivation on behalf of NCA Realty Partners and its clients.

Compensation

The combination of compensation, benefits, and an entrepreneurial culture along with related experiences is key to recruiting and retaining talent. Our compensation system is designed to reward performance, support development and job growth, and compensate individuals relative to their contribution to our organization. The compensation for this position falls within the range of : $95,000-$110,000.
