Overview:
Job Title: Revenue Cycle Specialist

Summary:
Revenue Cycle Specialist be responsible for managing the invoicing and collections process for a variety of customer types including utilities, general contractors, electrical contractors, and OEMs under the guidance of the Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience working in similar roles and be able to effectively communicate with separate functions and clients and work as part of a team.

Salary:
$25-$30/hour

Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist will be responsible for managing the collections process for a variety of service-based companies under the guidance of the Revenue Analyst Manager. This includes communicating with operations managers to identify when jobs are complete, generating invoices, communicating with clients to negotiate payment plans, implementing strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the billing & collections process, and reporting on the performance of the accounts receivables team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable management in service-based industries, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Run weekly indicator reports to review jobs, charges, and timesheet hours being charged to company jobs.
  • Interface with operations teams to understand which jobs are complete and ready to begin the billing process.
  • Send to clients or upload to client portals company invoices.
  • Communicate with clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts.
  • Implement strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the collections process.
  • Report on the performance of the accounts receivables team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the receivables process
  • Work with legal department to resolve disputes and take legal action as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in accounts receivables management in service-based industries
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collections management software.
