Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscapes for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate power tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of the landscape
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to maintain their health and shape
- Install hardscape features such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and safe practices
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
