Seeking scientifically savvy, client-facing project leaders to join an exciting Nashville biotech startup.
About NashBio: We are an exciting biotech company that is fundamentally changing drug discovery & development processes in biopharma. As a subsidiary of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), we are leveraging years of rich longitudinal clinical and genomic information to address pressing R&D questions for our clients in the biopharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. We offer data-enabled products and services that reduce costs, speed up activity and improve success all along the R&D pipeline. The company is profitable with a business model focused in two areas:
As a data company, our technical infrastructure is entirely cloud-based and serverless with footprints in multiple public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure). We are a modern cloud-native, data infrastructure team built on the latest technologies.
Position:
NashBio is seeking scientifically savvy business operators to join a growing team of fast-paced and forward-thinking innovators. Successful candidates must possess an orientation to customer needs and service, and will be motivated and proactive self-starters who would thrive in the rapidly changing and challenging environment of a startup. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop scientific insights to guide company deliverables and overall strategy. You will listen to our clients, gain an understanding of their company goals and project objectives, and then work hand in hand with our clinical and computational teams to analyze, synthesize and interpret results generated from our proprietary datasets. You will need to maneuver between conceptual and tactical levels of projects and client conversations with ease. Client projects could include the identification and study of a particular disease population, or the assessment of disease and mechanisms associated with new drug targets.
