NASC is seeking a Project Analyst to work on-site in Crystal City, VA (DC area). Candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing project/program tracking processes through special research, data analysis and data collection to facilitate strategic decision making. Serves as an interface with and point of contact for program sponsor, authorities and representatives on technical programs’ project and contract administrative issues. This position requires the candidate to possess technical writing skills, and be able to create and maintain spend plans that highlight project and task expenditures and funding balances. Performs in a dynamic, multi-tasking, team-oriented environment. Must be able to work independently and adhere to time sensitive deadlines.
Three years performing the foregoing functions: Working knowledge of, and experience using, MS Office Suite (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project, MS PowerPoint), as well as related software.
Travel Requirements: 3-6 weeks total per year of travel away from the DC area, typically 2-3 trips per year.
Candidate MUST be a U.S. citizen and MUST have an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Military veteran and/or defense contracting experience desired.
