Position Title: Federal Work Study – Assistant

Work Location Authorization: 100% On-Site
Campus Location: Naropa Community Counseling Center
Reports to: Practice Manager
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly
FTE: 50% (20 hrs/week)
Compensation: $16.00 - $16.00 per hour

Job Summary
Thepurpose of this position is to provide administrative support to NaropaCommunity Counseling staff and interns, in order to support the smoothfunctioning of the clinic site. This position is located at the NaropaCommunity Counseling Center on Table Mesa Drive. Applicants must be able to arrange reliabletransportation and commit to a regular schedule.

20 hours per week, but flexible and can be lower depending on the successful candidate. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a positive team environment and behaveprofessionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties. 
  • Administrative duties, including, but not limited toanswering phones, welcoming clients at reception desk, scheduling meetings, basicdata entry, filing, and managing office supplies. 
  • Support clients with clinic information and explaining intakeand registration processes.
  • Transcribe and monitor waitlist entries, and schedule intakeappointments as necessary. 
  • Help maintain a clean and uplifting clinic environment,organize the reception area, and maintain and supply the clinician rooms asappropriate. 
  • Perform routinecustomer service tasks requiring good listening and response skills, basicclinic knowledge, and a friendly, responsive attitude. 
  • Assist with socialmedia posting and visibility of clinic and services in the community, withguidance from Practice Manager.
  • Help prepare resource lists for clients and staff.
  • Assist with the Medicaid process, including, but not limitedto, data entry, verifying patient eligibility, and reviewing and submittingCCAR forms.
  • Assist Director with a variety of research projects asdirected.
  • Assist Interns/Externs (for example; onboarding, promotinguse of art supplies).
  • Help maintain Quality Control in clinic by auditing clientfiles as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
