Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our wonderful team! We are a highly digital office with amazing patients seeking someone reliable who will be a long-term member. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Perform basic lab tasks, such as digital printing, pouring impressions, and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant certification from an accredited dental assisting program
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental)
- Familiarity with medical documentation, including medical terminology and coding (e.g., CDT codes)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines

Preferred Skills:
While not required, the following skills are preferred for this position:
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
