Job Summary

Primarily responsible for the of repairs and maintenance of all production equipment, physical plant facilities, and sanitation equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Repairing, rebuilding, maintaining plant process and warehouse equipment.
• Install and remove equipment as needed.

Job Requirements MUSTmeet ALL the job requirements as follows:

• Have the ability to read, write & communicate in English.
• Be able to lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
• Bend, stoop, climb ladders & work from lifts.
• Have knowledge and work experience using basic hand & power tools, including, but not limited to wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hand drills, portable saws, grinders, cut-off tools, grinders, drill presses, and band saws.
• Be willing to comply with all company GMP standards.
• Adhere to all safety prevention practices, procedures & equipment & demonstrate knowledge of safety rules, regulations & practices
• Basic knowledge of PLC's

MINIMALLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES have the following:High School Diploma and 5 years maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment Basic computer skills IDEAL CANDIDATES should also have the following:College or Technical School Degree 5 plus years maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of OSHA and Food Safety regulations Intermadiate computer skills Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints/drawings

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain production equipment (mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic systems) in a fast pace production environment. Assist production staff with product change of which require different equipment, and/or adjustments to equipment. Knowledge of how to read blueprints.

Qualifications and Skills

5yrs mechanical background a must. Electrical background preferred. We are not looking for Janitors, or landscapers we are looking for qualified mechanics.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
