What You Will Do:

• Serves as a Senior Project Manager for a large federal government data analytics project (data warehouses, business intelligence/visualizations. Facilitate open communication, conduct project meetings, act as primary point of contact with the Government. Performs enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems.
• Directs completion of tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. Evaluates performance results and recommends changes affecting project growth and success.
• Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Reports in writing and orally to contractor management and Government representatives.
• Plans and directs technological improvements and project management implementation.
• Manages a diverse group of functional activities, subordinate groups of technical and administrative personnel.
• Provides business, financial, technical, and personnel management across multiple projects.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related area. Prefer candidates with a STEM degree (CS, engineering, science, economics)
• Active PMP certification is required.
• 10 years of experience serving as an Information Technology (IT) project manager. Experience in leading large software development project teams through all phases of a project lifecycle. Must show specialized, progressive experience in program management of complex and highly visible IT programs within the federal government.
• Experience with enterprise data analytics projects (data warehouses, business intelligence/visualizations) is required. Experience with cloud and cloud managed services like databases, serverless functions such as Lambas; cloud storage), preferably AWS.
• Demonstrated team leadership including planning, scheduling and risk management activities. Skills and insights needed for estimating and evaluating the resources and allocating work based on the capability of workers. Data and financial analyst skills needed to prepare detailed project cost estimates and rough orders of magnitude. Superior verbal, written and group presentation and facilitation skills.
