POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling the takeout orders and packing food & beverage. Maintain cleanliness and positivity in guest interactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete side work checklist for shift daily
Prepare takeout condiments: ginger, wasabi, and sauces
Assemble take out containers and fold takeout temaki dividers
Pack food and beverage nicely and accurately
Update order status on doordash app and toast pos
Confirm that orders are completed properly and consult a manager if there is something wrong
Maintain cleanliness in food service areas and throughout the food establishment
Restock items that were depleted during the shift
Maintain sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized
Report prepped item inventory for the day for the Chef on Duty and compile opening prep list for the following shift in conjunction with the Chef on Duty
Audit and execute the catering pack list; Review packed food items with Catering Chef; Communicate needs with Chef on Duty
Portion protein and execute veg prep as assigned by Chef on Duty
Assist in mixing protein for Counter use/setup
Assist in shari production
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The ability to communicate and give directives in English
The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
The ability to understand basic math
The ability to work independently or as part of a team
The ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis
The ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day
The ability to go up and down stairs multiple times per day
Adaptable in fast-paced and challenging work environment

Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business

Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Management Team
Adhere to all HR policies and guidelines
Inform Manager on Duty immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations
Update knowledge and skills by participating in any further required training
