Naioth in Ramah Counseling Services is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Edison, NJ
Naioth in Ramah Counseling Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! You will assist in the daily care, activities of daily living, community inclusion, and other skill-based activities of intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals in a community setting. Come be a part of our team!! We are looking for a DSP that can work in Edison, NJ Part-Time 30 hours per week. *Must have reliable transportation to bring individual to day program*
Monday through Saturday 7:30 am-12:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities as per their NJISP
- Provide support to individuals for community inclusion
- Implement vocational and pre-vocational programs
- Assist individuals with all day habilitation program and activities
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable program environment
Qualifications:
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other related fields is a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug screen & various background checks
