Nadeau - Furniture with a Soul is currently seeking a versatile individual for the role of Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee both warehouse operations and sales activities at our North Charleston location. As the primary manager on-site, you will work independently, collaborating closely with the Store Manager, who oversees both the Mount Pleasant & North Charleston Locations, to ensure seamless coordination and successful operation of the Warehouse store.

Responsibilities:

• Independently managing several aspects of warehouse operations, including both in-store and online inventory management, receiving and dispatching procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Supervising warehouse associates in daily tasks, including unloading inventories, arranging the sales floor, ensuring inventory accuracy and packaging for online sales.
• Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction during retail hours.
• Monitoring sales targets and goals, coordinating with the store manager to optimize performance and exceed expectations.
• Opening the warehouse for retail business on scheduled days, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as mandatory scheduled days, and providing support during retail hours.
• Assigning tasks and workloads to warehouse associates and sales staff, ensuring efficiency and productivity in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Enforcing safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
• Assisting in additional warehouse-related duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Management Team, and providing support to sales operations as needed.

Requirements

 Requirements:

• Equivalent experience in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in warehouse management and sales supervision, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and motivate teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with warehouse management software.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Dedication to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Knowledge of effective sales strategies and techniques.
