Program Overview:
The SUCAP program provides assessment and referral services to public assistance clients who may have substance use related barriers to work. Program staff members link individuals to chemical dependency treatment and review progress to assist them in recovery, leading to self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one on one assessments with HRA-identified applicants and recipients to determine if treatment is needed
• Refer identified clients to HRA-approved treatment programs
• Make clinical recommendations for treatment referrals
• Interact with treatment providers

Qualifications:

• Must have an active NYS CASAC credential
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a substance use treatment setting
• High school Diploma is required, Bachelors degree is preferred
• Bilingual speaker is a plus

Schedule: M-F working on-site

Salary: $55k/year
