Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in clinic under the supervision of physicians.
• Assess the general condition of patients, the vital signs and weight of patients.
• Provide basic patient care as ordered.
• Document all activities, family interactions, medications dispensed/prescribed, etc. in the medical record.
• Promote wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating physician instructions.
• Adheres to infection control and safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed with Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a team player.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care tasks, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Must have basic computer skills, and the ability to learn computerized scheduling and charting system.
