Job Specifications

1. Level of certification required: Grade 3 Wastewater Operator, or higher.

2. 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations and maintenance is required.

3. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operates, inspects and maintains the wastewater treatment equipment consistent with permit requirements.

2. Collects and calculates wastewater operations and control data.

3. Collects samples and conducts wastewater laboratory tests.

4. Adjusts facility controls to maintain required operating standards.

5. Performs general equipment inspection, maintenance, minor equipment repair and adjustments.

6. Ensures monthly monitoring limits are met in accordance with regulatory requirements.

7. Follows standard operating procedures, emergency plans, and state and federal codes.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
