Overview:
N Zone Sports Jr, in the Southern/Southeastern Twin Cities Metro Area, has an immediate opening for a youth sports coach. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sports having played or coached a variety of sports, (tennis and pickleball are a plus). Experience coaching/instructing kids on fundamentals of sports, sportsmanship, and teamwork are also a huge plus. Coaching sessions vary but are held Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm.
This is a part time position. This is a perfect opportunity for someone interested in working a fun job, starting with 5-10 hours/week and working up to as many as 15 hours or more.
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports lessons and training sessions
- Teach students proper techniques and skills in their chosen sport
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Provide individualized coaching to help students improve their performance
- Develop training programs and practice schedules
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines during all activities
- Manage behavior and maintain discipline among students
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate events and competitions

Salary: From $17.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience and background.

- Strong background in sports coaching, particularly in Soccer, Football, Basketball, T-ball - with ability to learn other sports as needed.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
