This position begins with shadowing a senior technician while providing timely and quality diagnosis and repair of customers’ appliances. Maintaining high – quality customer service and care. Providing knowledgeable and courteous service. Learning the appliance service trade from the inside! After training, you will be provided with a company vehicle, and required to perform appliance repairs independently.
Service Technician Responsibilities Include:
- Actively shadow senior appliance technician
- Assist senior technician with daily service
- Willingness to learn – attend training/service school to gain knowledge of different manufacturer appliances and their internal workings
- Keep truck stocked, cleaned, and organized per Company standards
- Turn in all paperwork/delivery orders by end of day
- All other duties as assigned
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to drive service truck
- Ability to lift 50 pounds to height of 3-4 feet and load into trucks
- Ability to push/pull 50 pounds across all terrains
- Ability to work with a partner
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to kneel, squat, and crouch frequently for long periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Proficient with computers and smart phones
- Strong Customer Relations skills a MUST
- Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
