Preferred:

• Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
• 2 - 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Cost Control, or related role

Responsibilities:

• Ability to extract, standardize and aggregate data into meaningful information.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, extract and deploy insights, to help organizations make informed decisions and / or to manage product performance and identify factors influencing product development, performance and trends, etc.
• Demonstrated a working knowledge of tools used in the design and build of data analysis and interpretation (e.g., WebFocus, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of and ability to understand demand/forecasting models, cost projection models, usage analysis and non-functional requirements.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of tools used in the design and build of data analysis and interpretation solutions eg., variance analysis to improve forecasting models
• Assist demand product manager in conducting data studies on past, future and comparative performance to develop/improve forecast models
• Evaluate data analytics and visualizations to identify underlying trends, patterns and exceptions
• Interpret findings to obtain business insights
• Report findings and possible recommendations to relevant stakeholders for review and decision making
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual projection of demand, cost , performance insights and trends for product and/or pricing changes or improvements etc.,
• Recommend improvements to existing systems
• Identify data sources and analyze data extracted from relevant databases to develop insights pertaining to customer behavior and product performance
• Assists in preparing, cleaning and collating data to be used in data analysis
• Collect data on customer behavior and product performance, based on established research frameworks and historical data
• Execute structured deliverables and solves simple data analysis and interpretation problems

Requirements / Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required (Computer Science, Information Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics preferred)
• 8-10 years of relevant experience including prior experience with financial acumen and forecasting
• Strong customer-focused, relationship building skills with the ability to communicate efficiently
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp data
• Must be highly proficient with MS Excel, PowerBI
