About The Role:As an Operations Specialist, Strategic Initiatives, you will play a crucial role in the Services Operations team, focusing on converting our strategy into action with impact to our clients and employees. Tasked with transforming strategic objectives into effective business solutions, you will be responsible for comprehensive requirements gathering, and strategic process improvement for key initiatives. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, you will utilize your exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate resources, create action plans, and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and streamline existing business processes. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancies, and improve overall operational effectiveness and client experience.
  • Project Coordination: Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing business processes. Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and oversee the execution of initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Process Improvement: Apply industry best practice principles to analyze and enhance business processes. Utilize a data-driven approach to identify and eliminate defects, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure seamless integration of optimized processes across various departments. Foster effective communication and collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
  • Automation Requirements: Identify opportunities for process automation, ensuring that requirements are translated into efficient and effective automated solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business processes, changes, and improvements. Prepare and present regular reports on the status and impact of implemented process optimizations to key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in business processes. Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous enhancement within the organization.
  • Change Management: Develop strategies to manage and mitigate challenges during the implementation of process improvements. Foster a positive, agile and adaptive culture within the organization.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures and systems to ensure that optimized processes meet established standards and contribute positively to overall operational efficiency.
  • Security Compliance: Adhere to ongoing security protocols and training, maintaining alignment with company policies. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 4 years proven experience in process improvement roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification strongly preferred
  • Experience gathering requirements and implementing automation solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of change management principles is a plus

Must be based in the United States.

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission programs. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
