The Orthodontic Assistant is responsible for providing support to an Orthodontist including patient care, chairside assistance and treatment for various forms of misalignment of teeth. This position executes on treatment plans with patients and families. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide assistance to the Orthodontist while performing procedures including ensuring necessary tools. Meet with patients, inquire about their braces experience, and any issues. Cleaning, sterilizing and set up of instruments and appliances. Prepare tooth impressions and assist in attachment of brackets, bans and wires. Assist with office duties including maintenance of patient records, ordering supplies, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
