Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of retail shopping centers

-Enforce no soliciting and no loitering policies

-Monitor surveillance systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records and write detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of conflict management strategies
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Non-lethal weapons such as o/c spray, baton, and handcuffs are preferred

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

- Clean driving record

Note: Due to the nature of this position, candidates must possess a valid Maryland security guard certification and a valid Maryland handgun permit.
