At Myland Homecare, we’re seeking dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our compassionate team. Our successful PCAs will be enrolled in our 40-hour state-approved Personal Care Aide Program and are required to pass the 2-part state-approved PCA exam. Myland Homecare PCAs must be skilled in reading, and writing, speak clear and fluent English, and excel in clear and detailed written documentation under the guidance of our Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses, delivering essential care services as per the client’s service plan.
With a minimum 1:1 staff-to-client ratio and a maximum of 1:2, you’ll provide personalized care in the comfort of the client’s home. Access to our RN Case Managers is readily available through our communication platform, Aaniie. As you contribute to our mission, our Administrator oversees daily operations, and our Management Team is here to guide you when the Administrator is unavailable.
As a PCA at Myland Homecare, your responsibilities include assisting the Nurse in delivering skilled nursing services, medication reminders, oral care, meal preparation, skin care, catheter care, and more. You’ll also engage with clients, offering companionship and assistance as needed.
Additionally, for those who meet the requirements, client transportation within a 40-mile radius of the client’s residence is part of the role. This includes errands, appointments, and outings in alignment with the client’s service plan.
