Security Officer - Nights - 7463-7786 Haywood Regional Medical Center Description
Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential / actual security threats.
Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency / disaster preparedness plans. Facilitates planned drills and simulations.
Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises
Qualifications
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred for Security Guard.
High School Diploma or equivalent required for Security / Medical Specialist.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
