We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Mortgage Advisor role based within Wealth & Personal Banking in Guernsey.
The Mortgage Advisor role within our branch network is to establish and grow our Mortgage business. You will be providing a professional mortgage advice service to both new and existing customers in line with the Bank's policy on treating customers fairly (TCF). The role is expected to deliver a high quality, customer driven, sales focused service by identifying customer needs for Mortgage products providing advice, to meet those needs.
In This Role, You Will
  • Provide an agile and flexible service to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice
  • Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, helping them to achieve a mortgage package that is fully tailored to their individual needs
  • Recognising the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and making referrals to other areas of the bank, where their wider needs can be met
  • Proactively developing and strengthening customer relationships and, in doing so, generating new business responsibly
  • Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly to everything you do
  • Develop and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
  • Proactively drive mortgage performance and track MI to ensure that all personal and team sales performances exceed plan
