Job: Change Execution Consultant (735465)

The Change Execution Consultant will play a key role in INDOT's digital transformation IT projects.

INDOT is undertaking a multi-million-dollar, multi-year digital transformation and IT systems modernization effort that will impact thousands of employees and contractor partners associated with INDOT. With transformation and modernization comes a lot of change – change to the way current processes are done, changes to who does what, and when. And change is difficult for any organization.
The Change Execution Consultant will play a key role in ensuring our digital transformation IT projects meet objectives on time, with the right resources, and on budget by leading the development of employee training, increasing employee adoption and usage, and ensuring new / revised processes are implemented to provide maximum benefit with as minimal impact on day-to-day operations as possible.
This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures, and business unit training development. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change execution strategies, working with INDOT project managers, business leaders and partner vendor implementors to support planning for and execution of employee adoption and usage to minimize risk to implementation. The Change Management Consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher crucial utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of successful results and outcomes.
Supervision
This position is part of the INDOT Digital Transformation Project Management Office (PMO). While the Change Execution Consultant does not have direct INDOT employee supervisory responsibility, this person will be responsible for leading change management and training best practices and will have responsibility for managing vendor training support staff.
This position will have to work collaboratively with many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Execution Consultant will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The Change Execution Consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Execution Consultant will also support project teams in integrating change execution activities into their project plans.

Experience leading training development and execution of large-scale process changes and software solution integrations with multiple business units Required 10 Years

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of software development lifecycles Required 10 Years
Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics Required
