Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment for students. You will develop lesson plans, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and assess student performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and experience working with students. Duties: - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards - Deliver engaging and interactive lectures to students - Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation - Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners - Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects - Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth - Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials and strategies - Utilize technology and educational resources to enhance learning experiences - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Previous experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is highly desirable - Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles - Familiarity with various teaching methods and strategies for mathematics instruction - Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including special education students - Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time management skills Skills: - Proficiency in molecular biology, differential equations, discrete math, organic chemistry, and scientific research - Classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment - Ability to provide individualized instruction and support for students' unique needs - Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support to students We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
