My Pet's Place in Eastgate, Ohio is looking for a receptionist with growth opportunities at our new boarding/daycare/grooming facility. My Pet’s Vet, a successful veterinary hospital, has added more services for our clients by providing them a place they feel happy and comfortable bringing their fur babies for playtime and/or overnight stays. Our Eastgate My Pet’s Place is set to open in May with a start date in mid or late April.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for maintaining a positive client/pet experience ensuring that each pet is treated with respect, is comfortable and safe, and is cared for in adherence to all My Pet’s Place Policies and Standards. Partner with My Pet’s Place leaders to execute all guest service interactions in a positive enjoyable manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
Positively greet all clients, explain programs, and suggest products and services which are best for each individual client.
Input client reservations, check for double bookings, vaccinations records, client conflicts, etc.
Promote, communicate, and deliver products and services.
Properly record any incidences and discuss with Office Manager.
Ensure all necessary documentation is readily available and up to date.
Maintain front office and front building cleanliness concerning dusting, sweeping, moping, and disinfecting.
Qualifications and Skills
Motivated and passionate about caring for animals is a must
This is a trainable position, but candidates who have some previous pet industry experience is a plus.
Excellent customer communication skills.
A commitment to outstanding client service.
Education: High School or Equivalent
Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
