Our client, a leader in the industrial equipment sales and leasing space, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal utilization and maintenance of their rental assets.

What you will do:

• Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting
• Prepare journal entries and cost adjustments
• Provide audit support
• Ensures compliance with SOX, IFRS, and GAAP principles
• Completesmonth-end duties in adherence to strict deadlines
• Prepare reports and ad-hoc analysis
• Assist in managing capital expenditures
• Administrator for leases and lease accounting
• Collaborate with and assist fixed asset clerks.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the monthly closing of accounting records
• Assist with streamlining procedures within the department to improve efficiency
• Manage databases for budget and other financial records
• Create Financial Analysis Reports and models
• Collect and record historical data
• Collect financial data from internal departments and external sources
• Month-End Variance Analysis
• Expense Analysis

Your background includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required 
• CPA preferred
• Understanding of GAAP rules.
• SQL, Adaptive Insights tools and Advanced Excel preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•  Ability to identify the root cause of problems and implement corrective action 
•  Ability to work with multiple users at all levels of the organization 
•  Strong financial acumen, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision-making, and quantitative analysis
