Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join the NRMA’s Brand team. You will be a strategic and creative thinker who is performance driven and outcomes focused. We’d also love it if you are passionate about Reconciliation as you will work closely with our reconciliation team to support in the delivery of our RAP program.

This is a full-time permanent role, reporting to the Senior Brand Manager. We offer a hybrid work arrangement working from our Sydney CBD & Sydney Olympic Park offices and from home as agreed and required.

In this role, you will be specifically responsible for:

  • Lead the team in developing and managing plans to build brand activations internally and externally across group sponsorships and campaigns
  • Support the senior brand manager and Senior Indigenous Affairs manager with NRMA Group events, in leading sponsorships to deliver on the group brand strategy and our Reconciliation Action Plan
  • Co-ordinating projects including First Nations and NRMA projects and executions of business as usual activities across NRMA Group and businesses
  • Contribute to the development of briefs, plans and execute production of content alongside the Brand manager to amplify the activations internally and externally.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Events or equivalent.
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Must be proficient with MS Office suite
  • Excellent brand, project and process management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop briefs and articulate creative decisions and direction
  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external agencies
  • Experience in managing and leveraging sponsorships and communication plans
  • Strong strategic thinking with a pro-active and creative solutions driven approach
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills are essential, with the ability to proactively engage stakeholders, multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high level of motivation to work autonomously and also be a team player to deliver exceptional results, from briefing to approval, ensuring all timelines are met across all activities
