We are looking for a Mobility Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate may have experience troubleshooting and repairing various devices or a strong desire to learn. We pride ourselves in growing talent to meet our needs. You should be a fast learner, and be able to quickly evaluate malfunctioning/broken equipment, and advise on repair solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for fixing things and helping people keep their mobility. You must have a valid SC driver's license with no violations, be able to pass a criminal background check, and pass a drug test.

Responsibilities:

  • Test equipment deliver Home Medical Equipment (HME) and supplies to customers' homes and perform install/setup up tasks
  • Instruct customer on the proper use of equipment. · Install new/repaired parts to restore equipment to proper safe, working order
  • Read and understand the service call requirements (e.g., Location, obstacles/challenges to install setup, payor information, etc.) prior to arrival
  • Ensure the home environment/space is safe for delivery, installation, and use of equipment
  • Obtain signature from customer on delivery/install paperwork
  • Pick up and remove equipment from customer residence if required. Generally, as part of the service call
  • Maintain service equipment in work vehicles in accordance with guidelines.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances that apply to you and My Mobility Medics

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
